Often, when a family or individual is facing a challenging situation, they simply do not know where to turn for help. In such instances, Aspen strives to lend a hand by pointing them in the right direction - through our Community Connections program. The Community Connections program operates in six areas of the city. This geographic focus enables workers to get to know the formal and informal networks in the community very well. Aspen workers can either provide assistance and referrals by phone or arrange personal visits.

The purpose of this program is to provide one-to-one support to people affected by issues related to poverty. This program also connects individuals and service providers to work together and strengthen their community.
