Youth are faced with some very difficult decisions quite early in life. Such choices can be made easier when they have access to someone who will listen, positive role models and strong support networks.
Youth Matters is a program for youth aged 13-21 who reside in the North Central and Heart of the North East communities and who are considered "at risk". The program is designed to help youth make smart and informed decisions when it comes to issues such as relationships, employment, school and housing. Youth Matters staff work to engage and increase the capacity of youth and communities. This is achieved by providing opportunities for youth to connect with each other, adults, resources and their community.
